Then, on the rest of the menu, battleground state Republicans are refusing campaign donations from Marjorie Taylor Greene; Oklahoma has executed more people per capita than any other state in the US, but some Republican lawmakers want to impose a moratorium until more safeguards can be put in place; and, the US government has agreed to help restore a sacred Native American site on the slopes of Oregon’s Mount Hood that was destroyed by highway construction.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where developed countries pledged $9.3 billion at a conference held in the German city of Bonn, to help poor nations tackle climate change; and, a special unit of German police and customs officials raided several properties of an EU-sanctioned Russian national in the southern state of Bavaria.
