Alarm bells are ringing in the FBI and DOJ. And no doubt in the DNI too.
Just how much damage has the former president and legal renegade done to America’s National Security?
Afterall, in terms of protecting the nation’s secrets, it has been clear for a while now, that the Donald “club house” in Florida leaks like a sieve. Foreign interests interested in our secrets, can be within “taping/photo” distance — merely for the price of admission to the Mar-a-Lago Club

Trump, the front-runner of the GOP presidential primary, reportedly discussed sensitive information about U.S. nuclear submarines – including the number of warheads they routinely carry and how close they can get to Russian submarines without being detected – to an Australian businessman. The businessman, who is a member of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club, repeated the information to at least 45 others , including Australian officials and three former Australian prime ministers, journalists and his company’s employees, according to news reports. The scenario sounds a whole host of new alarms for Justice Department officials currently investigating the extent of potential security breaches stemming from Trump’s mishandling of classified material after he left the White House, for which the former president faces 40 felony charges in a federal trial that’s set to begin May 20.

Dump’s prior behavior has shown the world, he is an insecure braggart, who will spill our best-kept secrets on a whim. Appeal to his vanity, float him a complement — and there’s no telling just what he might tell you in return … Discretion apparently is something not in his intellectual toolkit. Trump Loves Sharing National Security Secrets With Random Strangers A new report says Donald Trump shared nuclear secrets with an Australian billionaire. This isn’t the first time he’s shared classified intel. by Tori Otten, newrepublic.com — Oct 6, 2023

The incident with [Australian businessman] Pratt is far from the first time that Trump shared classified information with people unauthorized to hear it. In May 2017, Trump shared highly classified information with the Russian foreign minister and the Russian ambassador to the United States that the U.S. hasn’t shared with some of its closest allies. Current and former U.S. officials warned that Trump had jeopardized a crucial intelligence source on the Islamic State group. Later that month, Trump told then-Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte that the U.S. had positioned two nuclear submarines off the Korean peninsula. The locations of nuclear subs are meant to be kept secret, as a matter of national security. In fact, only the captains and crews know the sub’s exact location.
[...] Trump tweeted a video in December 2018 of the Al Asad Airbase in Iraq, exposing a SEAL team’s faces and location. The next year, he bragged about U.S. nuclear weapons capabilities to reporter Bob Woodward and tweeted photos that revealed the location of U.S. spy satellites. And of course, it didn’t stop after he left office. One of the documents he allegedly kept detailed a plan to attack Iran. He is accused of waving the paper around in front of people.
Vanity (and insecurity) however, are there in abundance. They are among the rage-aholic’s most exploitable traits. So much so, he was “willing” to solve the GOP’s Speaker-less dilemma for a hot minute — until he wasn’t ...
[...] the former president considers returning to the Capitol next week for the first time since the infamous and violent Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection, for which he now stands on trial accused of inciting in federal court.
[...] “Congressman Jim Jordan has been a STAR long before making his very successful journey to Washington, D.C., representing Ohio’s 4th Congressional District,” Trump posted to his social media site, Truth Social, shortly after midnight Friday. “He will be a GREAT Speaker of the House, & has my Complete & Total Endorsement!” www.usnews.com — Oct 6, 2023
The vice-chair of the Jan 6 Investigation Committee has some keen insights, into this stooge that Drump would install, to help complete his unfinished Govt-wrecking mission ... (aka “his retribution”) Liz Cheney Warns On What Jim Jordan Becoming Speaker Could Mean For The Constitution
by Marita Vlachou, Huff Post, via Yahoo News! — Oct 6, 2023

“Jim Jordan knew more about what Donald Trump had planned for January 6th than any other member of the House of Representatives,” [Liz] Cheney said. “Jim Jordan was involved, was part of the conspiracy in which Donald Trump was engaged as he attempted to overturn the election .”
[...] “If they were to decide that, there would no longer be any possible way to argue that a group of elected Republicans could be counted on to defend the Constitution,” she said.
Cheney, who has insider-knowledge of these Constitutional turn-coats, goes on to pose a quite serious question for Jim Jordan — that he really needs to answer:

[Liz] Cheney said there was a handful of people, Jordan being the leader, who knew what Trump had planned on that day . Cheney said in her speech that someone needs to ask Jordan why he didn’t report his knowledge about the events on Jan. 6 to Capitol Police. thehill.com — Oct 5, 2023
Jordan had no compunction, accusing the prior Speaker Pelosi “with failing to protect the Capitol.”
Turn-about would be only fair-play, now that Speaker’s gavel, is about to be “on the other foot” — so to speak.
This direct question is all the more relevant, with all the National Security issues quickly rising into the national consciousness. National election threats plotted and incited — national secrets causally strewn about — by the Trump burn-it-all-down wrecking crew.
Afterall, whose idea was it to Shutdown the Government again?
“Someone needs to ask Jordan why he didn’t report his knowledge about the events on Jan. 6 to Capitol Police.”
Our Constitution is depending on it …
