Then, on the rest of the menu, the FBI alleges a die-hard MAGA sheriff in Virginia, charged with accepting bribes for deputy badges, sold one to a controversial Iraqi fixer; neo-Nazis violently threatened journalists covering a Tennessee mayoral race; and, the Education Department asserts Liberty University violated federal safety laws by failing to warn the campus community about gas leaks, bomb threats and people credibly accused of repeated acts of sexual violence, for years.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Armenia’s parliament voted to join the International Criminal Court, a move that further strains the country’s ties with Russia; and, police in India searched journalists’ homes and offices in the country’s latest raids on the media.
