"The son went for many reasons to the PMC: he wanted to atone for what he had done, besides that, he had six years left to serve in the colony," said his mother. She believes that the pardon of the son was deserved as he is "sorry for what he's done and repents". Now the killer lives in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region but is going to move to Anapa, Russia.
