It’s the Day of Atonement!

So it’s a great day to make up for all the times I leaned on the Eastern Orthodox calendar for a cheap joke.

Last year, I pre-recorded two shows around this time: one on September 26th, which is the closest date to today, the 25th. Normally, I’d use that show for today.

But as it turns out, last year, September 26th was Rosh Hashanah. And it wouldn’t do for you to turn on the show today and hear that it was Rosh Hashanah, when it was really Yom Kippur.

So today, September 25, 2023, we’ll hear the October 5, 2022 episode — from when it was Yom Kippur last year, as it is today.

Finally, you can blame the play on the date on the Jewish calendar instead of the Eastern Orthodox.

Payback, or atonement? You decide.
