PWB Theme Thursdays: Relaxation, Procrastination, and Priorities [1]

Cats seem like a natural choice for talking about the dreaded “p” word…. Yes, THAT “p” word — procrastination:

Kewl! Procrastination hab uh dress cowd!

The assumption that cats excel at procrastination, though, is actually a hoomin projection. It’s what many of us do best (me included!) What cats truly excel at, though, is relaxation:

Cats have mastered the art of not being in a hurry. Not sweating the small stuff. Not running the hamster wheel trying to get something woefully unimportant. They have learned the art of priorities. Of making time for the important things.

And then, of course, there are the things SO important that procrastination (even ours!) is NOT allowed:

So to recap our lesson for today:

1) Cats don’t procrastinate, they merely prioritize. Moreover, they have no tolerance for hoomin procrastination.

2) Always, always prioritize your pootie.
