I was reading a diary earlier today about a person who shall remain unnamed for reasons which should be clear. In the comments a person made reference to the Daleks from Dr. Who. My first inclination was to reply with,
EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!
I was about to hit summit, thinking I made the perfect clever reply however my finger hovered over the button just long enough. Had I proceeded I realize I was calling for the death of another human being. A big no no on this site, as it should be.
Admonishing someone for being a jerk, hypocrite, asshole, go for it! Calling for a deathray to remove them from existence, that crosses a line. It seemed to be an innocent funny thing in the moment but I’m sure most if not all will agree it would have been totally inappropriate.
So I learned without being told and I hope others can learn from this.
That being said I searched for a Dalek reference to go along with my what was to be my comment. What I found turned out to be Kevin McCarthy playing the role of Davros as Matt Gaetze plays himself as the moronic republican minion he is.
If you watch the clip it basically lays out what the republican's wish for America.
