FL Surgeon General contradicts CDC, says Floridians under 65 should not get Covid booster [1]

The Florida state Surgeon General, Joseph Ladapo (a DeSantis appointee), has announced that contrary to the CDC advice issued yesterday, no Floridians under 65 years old should be vaccinated with the latest Covid booster.

This renders me speechless. Ladapo claims this will make “Floridians the CDC’s Guinea pigs”, and he refuses to let that happen. Claims the booster has not been clinically tested, and has not been demonstrated safe nor effective.

What an utter ass.

Go read this story for yourself.

I suspect this may also mean that Florida will actively try to block vaccine booster administration and distribution, by limiting funding or forbidding insurance from covering it, or some other nonsense. Un-freaking-believable.
