Of all of the stupid headlines I thought I might be writing tonight a sitting Congresswoman getting bounced from a Beetlejuice musical was not one of them.
x Lauren Boebert was escorted out of the “Beetlejuice” musical performance after officials said she was vaping, recording, and making noise.
Boebert reportedly refused to leave, telling them they can call the cops and saying “Do you know who I am?”

I am trying to figure out exactly what in the ever loving Gobstopper makes a grown woman vape in public at a Broadway musical, recording a copyright protected Broadway musical, and somehow be loud enough to overpower the audio of one of the most manic productions ever made.
U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert was escorted out of a Sunday night performance of the “Beetlejuice” musical in downtown Denver, accused by venue officials of vaping, singing, recording and “causing a disturbance” during the performance. In an incident report shared with The Denver Post on Tuesday afternoon, officials with Denver Arts & Venues wrote that two patrons were asked to leave the city-owned Buell Theatre during the performance of the touring Broadway show. They previously were issued a warning during the intermission regarding behavior that prompted three complaints from other theatergoers, the report says. The report does not name Boebert as one of the patrons or identify the other person. But her campaign office — while disputing the behavior alleged — confirmed that she was escorted from the Buell on Sunday night during the “Beetlejuice” show.
How can an adult not find it within themselves to sit quietly and behave? In fact, no adult should ever have to have feel a need to direct the term “behave” at another adult.
This wasn’t a symphony, or an opera, where silence is absolutely required. I would guess even a low murmur would not grab security’s attention.
I love where she asks, “Do you know who I am?”
They probably do. But this was not Rifle, Colorado.
It was Denver.
