Why are conservatives still obsessed with the modern version of this commonplace telecommunications device?

“Americans today can more easily afford everything from air conditioning to flat-screen televisions and smartphones, and trade is one reason why.“
It is impossible to buy a CRT television outside of maybe a yard sale. The only kind of TV sets you can buy for the past decade or more are “flat screen” televisions.
There aren’t even many options for flip phones available today and you can often get smartphones for cheaper. And AC is too expensive to run for many dealing with poverty, it’s not about the cost of the actual air conditioning appliances available.
This reminds me of hearing creeps in the grocery store line telling Monica Lewinsky jokes during George W’s second term.
Just say television already. Yikes. It’s 2023. We can’t trust these people with modern problems.
