Does Russia have Kompromat on Elon Musk? [1]

I have to admit I had never thought of this before. I never liked Elon Musk. He was always a crude con man who used the corrupt U.S. government to the fullest extent to enrich himself. A slightly smarter Donald Trump before he was president. But then I read this posting by Josh Marshall. There is a lot in here that needs to be unpacked, such as why did the Pentagon allowed Musk to continue to own Ukraine’s Starlink. But what really struck me was something Josh said almost in passing that I cannot stop thinking about. Musk began his decent into mad nessalmost the same time Russian invaded Ukraine. He was, is, and always will be an asshole. But I always got the sense there was a line for him. More than anything else he did not want to be seen like his running mate Peter Thiel. He cared about what people around him thought. He cared about his daughter. He desperately wanted to be considered a great man. Racist and maybe anti semitic, but he kept it under wraps. He still wanted to be a guest at dinner parties. All that has been swept away in an incredibly short period of time. He will never recover. He is smart enough to know this I think.
Why? Is it coincidence, or does Putin have something so horrific on him that he has given up being human?
