Alright!
Here is the link to the list of songs I used:
en.wikipedia.org/…
Outkast, at number 94:
This is such a nice song, to encourage us all to brush our teeth! Ha!
Eric Sermon, featuring Marvin Gaye, at number 83:
I keep seeing Danny DeVito in that video. The song must have been in a movie.
Ja Rule, featuring Case, at number 79:
Something about that, just flows.
Nelly Furtado, at number 70:
I don’t like the mud, but I like the beat! Ha!
Aerosmith, at number 47:
That video is just way too fancy. But the song is nice.
Outkast, at number 25:
Hey, I like the way they used an owl, and cats, and dogs, in that video, all moving their heads just right! Ha!
Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya, and Pink, at number 24:
Fancy, fancy, and more fancy, in the video! The music is nice, too! Ha!
Shaggy, featuring Rikrok, at number 12:
So totally silly! But I like the beat, and the Jamaican rap.
Train, at number 4:
That song is one of the few I posted here that is like an old friend. I suppose since I was born in 1955, the songs of the sixties and seventies are more like my old friends. But my second wife, Tonia, was born in 1970, and she introduced me to a lot of the newer songs. Her brother, Isaac, always liked that “So Fresh And So Clean” song. So, I am determined to keep going, through the years, until I reach the hits of this year, 2023, on the 11th of February, 2024. I have this all marked on my calendar. Then, I will start back at 1955, but this time, the Country Music hits. Ha!
As I was putting this diary together, on my Saturday evening, I saw at the MSNBC YouTube channel, that there was a very big earthquake, a very deadly earthquake, in Marrakesh, Morocco:
That made me think of a happy song from the seventies. I will post that here, not dismissing the tragedy, but looking forwards to happier times, there, in Marrakesh:
Okay, here is the link to the list, again:
en.wikipedia.org/…
Okay, load up the comments with the great songs I missed!
Hugs!
