The hate never sleeps [1]

Sorry the banner was circling off

You know it is surprising the lengths the haters of others will go to these days…..now as you can see by my well placed and easily seen sign my family supports the LGBTQ+ community and are progressive Democratic Party voters.

Now two things recently here in Boise show the depths conservative haters will go to, and yes they are conservatives, likely “good” Christian’s and most likely Republicans since:

About 6 of these signs were stolen several weeks back when they first went up on private property (yards)….note all the people hit reordered the signs and several doubled them with the note that they would double them again if stolen…..also several added video ring cameras to try to catch the perps.

The next thing happened just a few minutes ago as a small plane circled over the area dragging a sign behind it…..the banner was “The rainbow is Gods, not yours”.

What the heck…..well it is Boise Pride Weekend and the God Botherers are just displaying their love of others and wasting time, money, and fuel to tell everyone that they hate the gay. Sorry you cannot read the sign, by the time I understood what was going on the plane was going away from our area.

I mean, really, how petty and hate filled are you to spend the time and money to send a message that their particular sky god claims a physical manifestation from sunlight and water vapor and imply others using rainbows should just F off and stop using it…..or so it seems to me.

Well. Back to deck time and a quiet beer, I hope, as I salute Pride Weekend and send my well wishes, thoughts, and not-prayers towards downtown and the event.
