This is a VERY nice space history museum, about an hour away from Wichita KS. It has some quite interesting displays, including some unusual stuff. Some of these are worth their own history diary later. Many of the exhibits are space-flown, others are flight-ready backups or spares, some are engineering or test mockups, and a few are replicas.
Alas, I fear the museum does not get the visitorship that it should, since it is located right in the middle of flyover country, but I found it well worth a visit. I spent the whole day here.
Some photos.
For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit.
