Insomniacs' Late Night Vent Hole [1]

This vent-hole (hereinafter known as IVH), if lost or stolen will not be replaced or purchase price refunded. Violation of IVH rules will result in expulsion without refund. A copy of IVH rules can be obtained from one or more members wearing tie-dyed oxford shirts after written requests. Admission to certain functions within the IVH may require additional innuendo, enter at your own risk. Frivolity and silliness are highly recommended for all riders. What a 4 day week end I’ve had. My cardiopulmonary therapy didn’t happen on Friday, I drove all the way to town just to be the only one there. There was a sign that said they would be closed Monday, and that I expected, but no one said anything about Friday. My daughter bought me some five pound hand weights on Saturday, that’s one pound heavier than I’ve been working with, but I’ve gotten better at using them.

Sunday was lunch with my adopted grandkids, it was Hunter’s turn so we took her to lunch and dropped Madison (Maddie) off with a friend. Maddie had her turn last month, next time it will be both girls. Hunter’s turn got put off several times in the last month because every time we made that lunch date, I got mudded in the day before! It did rain on Saturday, as usual, but I said the hell with it and drove out anyway. The place had dried out pretty well by the time I got home.

Who is talking to who. SPOILER WARNING: A late night gathering for non-serious palaver that does not speak of that night's show. Posting a spoiler will get your brolly whacked. You don't want that to happen to you.

The battle over AI and the writer’s guild continues. Here’s the problem: The writer’s are striking for decent wages for their creativity. The rich that they work for seem to think that they can wait out the writers and instead count on Artificial Intelligence to replace the writers and protect their bottom line. Neither side will budge so I’ve put the Brolly whacker in the closet for now. I wonder if we will ever see late night television like we used to again. Spoil away, this is an open thread.
