If it’s a day ending in Y, it must be time for another big fire in Moscow.

The United Nations says there is still not enough evidence that Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine. What are they waiting for? A signed confession?

x "The UN still does not have 'sufficient evidence' to recognize Russia's crimes in Ukraine as genocide." - Erik Møse, Сhair, Commissioners the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine.

Another entry in the turret toss contest.

And a large group of Russian soldiers surrender near Bakhmut.

Taking the high ground around Verbove, which sits in a valley, is key to taking the town.

x Possible expansion of UA penetration of the 1st Surovikin. Based on the alleged RU shellings, UA forces have entered the manned trenches on the high ground west of Verbove.

Ukraine says Russian drones attacking Odesa have hit Romania as well. Romania denies it.

Romania clearly doesn’t want to admit it because then they’d be expected to do something about it, which they don’t want to do. Ukraine, for obvious reasons, would like to get Romania further involved.

x Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry: Russian Shahed drones fell and detonated on the territory of Romania last night during the massive attack on Odesa region.

Speaking of helicopters — The fewer of these, the better.

x Russians lost another Kamov Ka-52. According to the Russian TG Channel "Baza", the Ka-52 crashed 1.5 km from the coast of the Azov Sea (likely near their base in Berdyansk), due to heavy fog. Both crewmembers made it out alive.

Belgium is also buying Sea Sparrow missiles off of a decommissioned German frigate and giving them to Ukraine, which begs the question — why didn’t Germany just give them to Ukraine?

Replacing Oleksii Reznikov as defense minister is a positive step for Ukraine. (see below)

x Reznikov, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine has been finally sacked by our President.

New minister Rustem Umerov is installed and I wish him to be the best minister Ukraine could have.

Regarding Reznikov. While he became famous on twitter for having #NAFO profile picture, and cool videos and trolling, inside Ukraine and among average soldiers he became famous for: - failing to procure blood stopping medical supplies, such as tourniquets - failing to develop first aid training programs for the soldiers, literally no soldiers have basic medical training - Procuring overpriced food provisions, one of the famous cases was buying eggs for a price of $6 per dozen- Media attacks on journalists for reporting corruption - calling small quadrocopter drones “wedding drones” and calling them useless. While entire frontline depends on them, our ministry failed to buy them or create conditions for charities to seemlessly supply them. - Buying overpriced jackets and attacking journalists for reporting about it- installing a puppet deputy Hanna Malyar from a show Battle of Psychics. - facilitating media attacks on military, OSINT experts and foreign journalists that highlight problems in Ukrainian military

Yes, that could be a problem for Russia.

x russians just now figuring out that this winter the reservoir will now freeze over and vehicles will be able to pass over it..

Another reminder.

Putin just gets no respect anymore. I think Erdogan wanted this meeting so he could rub it in Putin’s face one more time.

The meeting accomplished little else. There is no new grain deal. Erdogan offered to mediate peace negotiations, which is some cheap publicity for Erdogan, who knows there aren’t going to be any negotiations any time soon. And Putin spent his time at their joint press conference ranting about the evil West.

This took some guts.

x A woman was detained in Moscow's Red Square for wrapping a Ukrainian flag around her.

Russian Telegram channels write that her name is Alena Kozhevnikova and she is an activist.
