I can't stop crying as all this darkness takes it's toll [1]

After learning more about Elijah McClain, the sweet autistic young man who played violin to shelter animals to soothe them, I can’t seem to keep the tears at bay. Every time I think about something so pure and innocent snuffed out so cruelly by racism and brutality, it breaks my heart. But then, stories of that type tend to do that to me, and in this world, there are a lot of them.

Justice seems so far away at times—but I am hoping we will soon see it play out in a big way where Trump and his minions is concerned.

I am going to take this as a time to reflect so I may unplug for a few days. I want to be a stronger warrior in this fight and I am taking this as a call to plug in my batteries and recharge.
