Welcome to the Street Prophets Coffee Hour, the place where politics meets up with religion, science, art, nature, and life. Come in, have a cuppa and a cookie (or three!) and join us.
Years and years and years ago I was with a group of teachers attending a tour/event at the Nelson-Atkins Gallery of Art in Kansas City. (Haven’t been there? It’s one of the top galleries in the country, with possibly the best collection of Asian art.) We were specifically learning about Henry Ossawa Tanner. We were lucky enough to be given a folder with reprints of some of his paintings. This diary will just let the artwork speak.
