US Supreme Court's Thomas flew on GOP donor's jet, cites security risks [1]

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas acknowledged accepting private jet flights in 2022, citing security concerns related to the court's contentious abortion ruling as a reason for this private travel. In a recently disclosed filing, Thomas detailed private jet trips in 2022, provided by Texas businessman Harlan Crow, which included travel to conferences in February and May in Dallas, Texas, and a trip to a property in upstate New York's Adirondack Mountains in July. This disclosure comes in the wake of scrutiny surrounding Thomas for not previously revealing these luxury trips funded by a wealthy supporter.
