Rachel: How dangerous will Trump be in 2024? [1]

In last night’s segment on MSNBC, Rachel asked a simple question. (See for example, 7:30ff.)

In November of 2020, Trump had 2 choices: (a) accept defeat, retire to Mar-a-Lago / Bedminster / Trump Tower and run a real estate empire, or (b) create a delusional fantasy about a “stollen” election and challenge the democratic institutions of American government. To any normal human, a simple cost/risk/benefit analysis would make the choice obvious. But Trump is a narcissistic sociopath, and he chose badly.

In November 2024, Trump will almost certainly again have 2 choices: (a) accept defeat and spend the remainder of his life in federal and/or state prison, or (b) create a delusional fantasy about a “stollen” election and challenge the democratic institutions of American government.

OK, if you think Trump will choose option (a), raise your hand, excuse yourself, and seek help.

For the rest of us, the fight for democracy is just beginning. Prepare!
