Democracy is Sweet - Turning a Purple District Blue is even sweeter! [1]

California is often identified as a bastion of liberal democracy (or a bunch of crazy liberals) depending on your perspective. Outside of San Francisco it’s not easy being blue, in fact the further east you go, the redder it gets. We’re right on the edge of the Bay Area in a dark-ish shade of purple.
We were FINALLY successful in getting and keeping a Democrat in the House of Representatives (the awesome Josh Harder), but once again our district CD9 is a focus of the insidious and unscrupulous tactics of the GOP – from Congress down to our city council and school board.
