Public Lands: Devil's Lake State Park campground (photo diary) [1]

The Devils Lake Campground in Lincoln City, Oregon is unusual. First, the rather spacious campsites are located in tall trees providing shade (this, in itself, is not unusual at many state park campgrounds. The campground is located on Devils Lake and provides lake access (again, this, in itself, is not unusual). What is unusual is that with a short walk across the highway, campers can enjoy a sandy, expansive Pacific Coast beach. And for those campers seeking more urban amenities, the campground is located in Lincoln City which means that restaurants, coffee stands, tourist stores, and more are also with walking distance.
