Election Integrity - Virginia style - a local republican committee - they're doing what? [1]

I came across the minutes of a local Virginia republic committee meeting minutes from this summer(2023).
I decided to share the content of the election integrity section to give a boots on the ground perspective of local political activity in this state. Other activists are doing the homework needed to keep track of this activity in Virginia.
I am deleting any identifying info and will use quote blocks, but will not cite the source. Some things need to be kept hidden to ensure no individual is harmed or targeted.
From a local republican committee meeting minutes Improving Election Integrity--############### reported that the goal of Election Integrity is the get hand counted paper ballots in Virginia and get away from computer voting. ##### can share a 35-minute video about how to do this. Contact him if you want more information. ##### turned over his time to guest, ##########,who presented what she has learned about Cleaning Up Voter Rolls. ###### leading a group of volunteers to clean the Voter Rolls. ### took 3 months to educate herselfattending Voter Integrity Workshops. ### described howpeople get drivers licenses in Virginia and are asked if they want to register to vote. No one checks their citizenship before registering them to vote. The applicant gets to check if they are a citizen. Noidentity verification happens. There are 39,000 inactive voters in Virginia. They can vote if they decide to do so, or another person can vote for them. Cleaning this up means canceling them from the rolls by contacting each one individually. 3 groups are working on this. One group visits the addressto find out who lives there, another compares addresses to GIS data, and the third uses Google to search each person. Many volunteers could complete this taskso that we have a better Voter Roll in Virginia. Susan Beales and Governor Younkin can do a lot to make this better. We need to put pressure on them to make the changes that they have the power to do. Contact ##### or ##### if you can help with this effort. Electoral Board—############ reported that the new Poling Book will be on an Apple I PAD. This will happen before September. Electoral Officers need to be trained in this technology.
Lets start to decompress the content of these minutes. Election Integrity is the code for voter suppression. The top begins with going back to hand counting ballots in Virginia. This increases the chances for actual voter fraud on a potentially massive scale.
Cleaning up voter roles. How do we find democrat voters and clean them from the roles.
Voter Integrity Workshop. How do republicans do this statewide and train others to suppress votes.
No one checks their citizenship before registering them to vote. The applicant gets to check if they are a citizen. Noidentity verification happens. There are 39,000 inactive voters in Virginia.
I pulled this from above to highlight the misconception and fallacy of this Election Integrity push. It assumes that these voters are non-citizens. That there is no check. That all inactive voters full into the category of illegal voters. It also assumes they are democrat voters. Sad thing is they are probably going after the old folk vote as likely as any.
However another reality is they are going after the young new voters, as they would have more recently applied for driver licenses.
They can vote if they decide to do so, or another person can vote for them.
The assumption is that voter fraud will be committed if these voters are left on the roles.

This is creepy and pretty much stalking behavior. I’m guessing they will be knocking on doors of the supposed “fraud” votes. This is Virginia. People have guns. Confronting someone at their home, as this may indicate, isn't a good plan.
As disturbing as this may seem there is another dimension to this. This fall will determine the makeup of the Virginia legislatures. As I read the entire minutes, there was limited focus on getting out the vote. More time was spent on cleansing the voter roles than increasing republican votes. If one indiscriminately cleans up the roles, there is maybe a 50% chance it’s a dormant republican vote.
Regardless of the potentially illegality of this activity by a republican committee, it is misplaced priorities and more likely damages republican and inadvertently helps democrats
Democrats are very active today in getting out the vote in Virginia.
For comments, lets not dump on republicans as a group. Focus on the politicians and republican activists. Additionally, more focus should be placed on what we can do to effect change. Perhaps more of us on KOS can be local reporters and highlight the actions of local politicians that endanger our Democracy.
