Style Magazine: Judge Cannon asks about legality of using DC grand jury in Florida-based Mar-a-Lago case

My initial thought in response to Judge Aileen Cannon's query regarding the persistence of the grand jury after the indictment:

"Judge Cannon, whether, when, why and for how long the Justice Department (in general, or the Special Counsel in particular) impanels a grand jury is a matter entirely within the authority and mandate of the Federal Administrative Branch and is entirely beyond the scope of the Federal Judiciary. Were it otherwise the case, it would be possible for conflicted or otherwise corrupt judges to intercede or obstruct in cases venturing too close for comfort to themselves or their allies."
