I just heard Jen Psaki say "Donald trump Dominates and Runs the Republican Party". The question of how that happened, and who made that happen is the central issue in the origins of the efforts to overthrow constitutional governance in America. The Republican Party is always desperate to gain power because they have nothing to offer Americans but taking money away from the working class and giving it to the oligarchs who finance them. Their party leaders know that- all things being equal, they know they can never get elected on their merits. Whoever in the party that backed Trump to be president, because of their desperation to get a never-honestly-attainable power, and their oligarch financiers, are the creators of the treason that burgeoned under Trump. It is a party that will do anything to win power, including ending our democratic freedoms. Holding those who have that mentality fully accountable needs to be our most urgent immediate task!
