2 senior well respected Scholars recently tryed to downplay the importance of this moment for this constitutional crisis that we are in. It is clear to me and the majority of citizens that Trump has committed acts that prohibit him from holding office anymore.
Now to enact this into law, these 2 so-called scholars tried imply it was up to state election officials to bar trump from appearing on there ballots. I call Bullshit on that.
It clearly states in the amendment the “legislature” which is the precedent the congress used in the 1870’s. In that case it was used to unite us back as a country and show forgiveness for the greater good.
It kind of worked, except it didnt with the reconstruction nightmare and 150 years of racist hate toward black equal citizens.
So the head of our senate today is Kamala Harris. Call for the vote to see if he qualifys. If he gets 75 votes, fine let him run, otherwise bind it into law. Ban this man from destroying our democracy.
Call the vote Kamala, its your right and duty to protect and uphold the laws.
Now, before drumf does anymore damage with his hate and lies.
Im sure you would get 60 votes to pass the debate supermajority needed and bring the senate to vote on his qualifications. If he gets less than 75 votes — he is done.
Please do this now and stop this loophole game of law with zero justice.
