New Ad: The Number Matters [1]

Fourth indictment for Trump. It was expected to happen. And it did happen.

But despite its inevitability, it’s an amazing thing. Four indictments. And though right wing media, and the GOP, may think it strengthens their counter attack. They think it makes it look more like a “witch hunt”.

That’s not what the average American is seeing. Because these indictments came in four jurisdictions, multiple grand juries, and the different directions and approaches of different prosecutors.

And recent polls that even the independent Trump supports are softening their support. In a recent NPR/Marist Poll, Republican leaning independents who believe Trump “did nothing wrong” dropped from 51% to 41%, a significant drop.

That’s why we felt it was important to focus on the number itself. To have some fun with that number. And its significant place in American history and culture. And make it just, as one TikTok user called it, “Entertaining.”

We have some hard hitting, grimmer ads in the pipeline. But we delayed their launch, while the current indictment was eating up media cycles. So, when we chose to do a video on this moment, we thought something a bit more fun was in order.
