He wants the case moved to federal court. Not exactly lawful orders being followed by Mark Meadows, especially with his role in the run up to the “phone call” to the Georgia Secretary of State.
Plus he’s being excluded from the DC case’s co-conspirator indictment list. How cooperative has he become? If Meadows is convicted under Georgia's RICO laws, he will not be eligible for parole until completing a mandatory minimum 5 years in prison first.
Difficult to see how his defense lawyers can argue he was acting under 'color of his federal office' (which he needs) with acts like this. Ryan Goodman @rgoodlaw
x Guys? Guys?!?!
I think I know why Jack Smith had to use CIPA.
Bc Mark Meadows got CIA and NSA involved in chasing down Sidney Powell's conspiracy theories, including the Italian satellite or whatever it is.
Somewhere I know there's a still-redacted report on one of these.

Former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows is seeking to move his charges in the Georgia 2020 case to federal court, where he plans to ask a judge to dismiss the case. x Meadows asks for Georgia charges to shift to federal court, claiming he was doing his job. Aiding a coup is not your job, nor is following orders of a criminal wanna be dictator.
https://t.co/pq7h276S2f — Jill Wine-Banks (@JillWineBanks) August 15, 2023 The Supremacy Clause establishes that federal law takes precedence over state ones and prohibits states from interfering with constitutional powers bestowed upon the federal government. In the filing, Meadows claimed immunity from legal actions under the clause. The indictment alleged he pressured state legislators in key swing states, as well as Georgia election officials. It also notes his visit to Georgia in December 2020, when he attempted to to watch a signature match audit being performed. Meadows was ordered by a federal judge last year to speak before the Georgia special grand jury. The former chief of staff has been largely off the grid since the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol attack, from which damning testimony about his actions that day emerged. Some have speculated he has cooperated with special counsel Jack Smith’s federal investigation into Trump’s efforts to stay in power after losing the 2020 election. He has not been identified as a possible co-conspirator in that case. thehill.com/… The charges against Meadows come as Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis initiates what legal experts are describing as a "shock and awe" strategy, targeting high-profile TrumpWorld figures in an effort to shed light on the broader scope of election-related malfeasance. The charges may reflect a calculated move by Willis to potentially expose a network of influence aimed at undermining the electoral process. www.rawstory.com/...
x If @MarkMeadows is convicted he should be forced to serve his sentence in that old Scaly Mountain mobile home he swore was his residence when he voted in 2020.
Ironic that there were in fact fraudulent votes cast in the 2020 election … by Mark and Debbie Meadows.
