An appeals court ruled that it would restrict the abortion pill mifepristone from being prescribed through telemedicine, as well as dispensed through the mail. The Supreme Court will have to take up the matter.

From The Washington Post:

Food and Drug Administration decisions to allow the drug mifepristone to be taken later in pregnancy, be mailed directly to patients and be prescribed by a medical professional other than a doctor were not lawful, a three-judge panel of the conservative U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit said.

I’m thinking that civil unrest, or at least an escalation of good trouble, might not be such a bad idea to stop this theft of our freedoms. Unreal. I’m astonished. And very, very angry.
