In Case You Thought Things Weren't Absurd Enough.... [1]

So let’s take a quick look at some of the “news” I read today after a weekend away to see the Perseids Meteor Shower. And yes, it was awesome.
Let’s see, there was the preacher and the “that Jesus stuff doesn't fly anymore” guy. There was Stephen Miller and the Gay Pop Tarts. There was Lauren Boebert attacking Joe Biden for not doing anything about Maui, and getting her ass handed to her by Hawaiians. There was Boris Epshteyn groping 2 women in a club 2 years ago, Ronny Jackson losing his shit at cop and Ted Cruz whining to Maria Bartaromo about the Special Counsel appointment of Dan Weiss to investigate Hunter Biden, after signing a letter demanding Merrik Garland appoint Dan Weiss as special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden. That was a good one. Really, you almost have to admire someone so void of ethics they can literally lie about something they signed their name to. DeSantis, not to be outdone by mere psychotic hypocrisy, passed a law stating that all school kids must be addressed by the name on their birth certificate, unless a permission slip is signed by the parents. Sorry Ron, I mean Ronald, you really suck. Seriously. There was also much fun to be had from Ammon Bundy, Steve Bannon, Marsha Blackburn, and the usual gang of idiots. Then, the day was capped off by the announcement of a fourth set of indictments, against the likely Republican candidate for President Of The United States.
After a weekend off the grid, seeing all this at once was a reminder of just how much insanity we have gotten used to. A level of absolute absurdity you could not conjure up in your wildest imagination. And then…
Lindsay Graham... “Hold My Beer”. Lindsay heard about the indictments in Georgia and went off on the usual “1st Amendment, Political Witch Hunt, Weaponization” rant and then said the absolute craziest thing I heard all day. He said, “We should drop all this and… let the voters decide.”
It actually took a few seconds for the synapses in my brain to fire in a weird enough way to actually put together and comprehend what this galactic level moron just said. He thinks the man under numerous indictments for basically not accepting the voters decision in the last election, should be allowed to just get away with attempting a damn coup, lets call it what it was, and let the voters decide in the next election.
