The Kerch bridge connecting Crimea to Russia has been hit again. This time it is reported that there were anywhere from one to eight explosions on the bridge and that Ukraine used S-200 missiles in the attack.
Russia variously reported that they shot down the missiles, that some missiles hit the bridge but did no damage and that the smoke seen over the bridge was a screen to throw off the missiles.

When your beach vacation photos include a bridge being blown up.
x Smoke is visible in multiple places on the Kerch Bridge. I thought this was an exercise but multiple explosions were reported and some black some is coming from the bridge.

Radensk is a town about 10 miles southeast of Oleshky across the river from Kherson. It adjoins the Oleshky Sands National Park. One less ammo depot.

An interesting thread on the shortcomings of Ukraine’s naval drones.

"The naval drone is difficult to use against a maneuverable target. The distance of the 600 km drone passes in 10-12 hours. During this time, the warship can shift very far, or go to a protected base. The guidance from the drone sensor works well (the same principle was in the guidance of the first Soviet missiles, called TU-2), but the transmission channel can be jammed by the EW – we should remember this." "Striking with an anti-ship missile 600 km from our base can be solved thanks to the maneuver of a boat with 1-8 missiles to a firing position at sea with the subsequent strike of the AShM on the maximum range (the probability of killing a warship will increase significantly, the missile flies 200 km in 6 minutes, the AShM is more difficult to counter)." "If the United States mounted two NSM missiles as part of the NMESIS program, then it can also be done on a small unmanned boat. The factor of surprise or ambush strikes at the exits of the basing points usually increases the effectiveness of drones. Conclusion: The combination of attack drones (for stationary or relatively slow-moving targets) with missile boats 30-300 tons (including unmanned ones) looks like an option to deter the enemy within the Black and Azov Seas."
It’d be a shame if Solovyov was arrested. Yep. A damn shame.
x 2/ The memo follows one leaked last month which denounced Igor 'Strelkov' Girkin and other "hurrah-patriots" as a threat to the Kremlin. Solovyov's TV show on the Russia-1 channel was denounced for hosting a nightly "gang rape of the authorities".

When your currency is less desirable than North Korea’s. It’s only a matter of time before the ruble plunges into a death spiral. Russia is having to spend huge amounts of its foreign currency reserves to prop up the ruble, but it can’t keep that up forever.
x I'm not saying the Russian economy is in trouble, but the Ruble has fallen almost 40% in 12 months against the North Korean Won.

Chechen war criminal Ramona Kadyrov say instead of negotiating with Ukraine they need to finish them off. I’m sure tankies will be shocked at his unreasonableness.
x "We're 100 percent better than them. So why negotiate? We have to finish them off and that's it", - Ramzan Kadyrov spoke out categorically against negotiations with Kyiv.

I’ll bet that burned out tank makes a nice scarecrow.

I’d go with the Bentley. It gets better gas mileage and it has leather seats and a better sound system. OTOH, if the Humvee comes with a cannon or even an RPG …
BTW — it’s absurd that this video is marked as sensitive. It’s actually quite funny.
Another beautiful homecoming.

There are a lot of displaced pets at the front lines. The people who try to take care of them are heroes too.
