Take the Literary High Ground [1]

I would like to make a pitch for more professional = polite journalism at Daily Kos.

There is entirely too much finger pointing and name calling.

Such childish behavior has no place in responsible, adult communications.

It IS possible to write an intelligent article without resorting to rude and demeaning language.

I like to think that Daily Kos is a website for educated, liberal minds = people who can argue a point without being insulting.

Calling the opposition an expletive deleted whatever does not win debating points.

We can disagree without being disagreeable.

If my appeal for civility does not persuade you, please remember:

God loves all his creatures, even Republicans.
