Some Republicans Are Mourning That "Idea Guy" Vivek Ramaswamy Has No Chance. [1]

Pardon me if I cannot remember which Republican strategist or Never Trumper on MSNBC said that Vivek Ramaswamy is a “big idea guy.” But I have heard on more than one occasion from some pundits that Ramaswamy is offering “policy proposals.” (It was probably Ken Buck or Rick Tyler). And vaguely recall that they quickly added that he has no chance of winning the nomination from Trump. I bet that after the first Republican “debate” (joint press conferences are what they are, not debates), the media will crown Ramaswamy some great conservative thinker like Paul Ryan, a one time “young gun!” So what does Ramaswamy propose? Spoiler Alert: It’s Reaganism on steroids with a side of Trumpism.

Reagan retread. The above is all the new, brave and bold ideas from Ramaswamy. This is how I view all those bullet points.
Kill immigrants crossing the southern border.
Blacks are lazy.
Big government introduction into the family home for those with transgender kids.
I want to be able to call you the N word without any consequences.
Turn American cities into police states.
Destroy life on the planet Earth by excelerating global climate change.
Blacks are really lazy, along with anyone else who have ever used a government program.
No higher education for anyone who cannot afford it.
I lose my government job with the Census Bureau.
Let the forces of the Invisible Hand run amok.
Further note: Ramaswamy HATES that some people like myself work at home. He has accused those who work from home as being lazy (he loves that word), and he wants to end working from home. Seriously.
Oh, and asshole wants to RAISE the voting age to 25 years old. Nothing like being anti-democratic. Those young punks don’t need to vote!
I remember back in the 1980’s that Democrats only offered “New Deal Retread” to combat Reaganism. Hell, I bitterly recall that Democrats were in retreat during Reagan’s presidency, and even “New Deal Retread” would have been at least something to support. But the media considered the New Deal and Great Society as passe and in need of elimination.
Too bad we cannot consign Reaganism to the dung heap of history.
