Mrs. Claw Faces More Surgery, I am Exhausted, and I Desperately Need the Help of My Daily Kos Family [1]

I have not done a needs diary in some time, and tried to not have to. But right now, Valerie is facing more surgery to prepare for dialysis, and the best case scenario comes with a forty percent pay cut. This assumes the claims administrator is fair. There is no guarantee of that. We have done all possible to file properly so we will just have to wait.

But as I have said, The Claw News can’t absorb the shortfall on its subscriber base alone. If you have been following my story, then you know we support my disabled mom and brother too, and I basically never sleep. All I do is work. If I am not writing I am marketing, if I am not marketing I am researching. I try to do my best each day to put out quality work for my subscribers and when I post here.

Today Valerie is meeting with a dialysis nurse as we speak about the process, which is still new to us. Her incision is healing but pain is still noticeable. And in about 3 weeks it looks like she will be doing her next surgery to actually insert the catheter. That depends on scheduling availability.

Her mom’s platelets are down to 22, and she is fading, so this is doubly hard for her. We have more deductibles to retire, and more expenses to come. In a few weeks our shortfall doubles, so I am doing everything possible to grow The Claw News.

Any help at all is much appreciated, of any amount, and thank you so much to all of you for being there for us. And thank you for all your help you have given. It is just a lot to be able to make up and our bills keep growing, so shares of this on your social media could help too. I am sick to my stomach with worry.

I want so badly to make a positive difference, and I hope that comes through in my writing. Knowing my work matters is my validation.

One huge thing: Val needs a kidney, so if you can help in any way, please go to this link and tell them you want to help Valerie Robbins at Mayo Arizona!

Most people don’t realize it, however 15-20 percent of people die their first year on dialysis. I am doing all I kind to find a donor.

And I am trying my best so hopefully I can expand The Claw News but as of now we are still facing a monthly deficit. Below are the ways that will help us. But we thank you for your friendship and I hope all is well as even just kind words help. Have a great week.

Immediate help can be sent to my Gofundme here:
