Ex-president Trump and the climate

I live in Belgium and watch with interest the evolution of the manycases against your ex-president Trump. The ex-president Sarkozy ofFrance faced the same situation. (He has been sentenced to a year injail, but is appealing).

From my perspective, the major crime he committed wasagainst the climate. He denied the reality of the climate crises andreduced the climate protection actions that Obama introduced. We nowsee the consequences of his position. Unbearable heat across the US,fires in Canada and Mexico, about 100*F during the winter inArgentine, The Americas are not alone in this predicament, the wholeplanet suffers from forest fires, drought, torrential rains, hail,inundations. Our planet is hit overall by catastrophes. Not only didTrump too little to solve the problem (as most of our leadersworldwide), but he aggravated it. I remember him denying the climatechange towards higher temperatures during a cold spell, and it wasnot humour, nor sarcasm.

For the sake of the whole world, I ask you to insiston this crime against humanity, even if no court of law will supportit.
