August is golden. Street Prophets Coffee Hour [1]

Welcome to Street Prophets Coffee Hour, the place where politics meets up with religion, art, science, nature, and life. Come in, have a cuppa and a cookie (or three!) and join us.
For unknown reasons we had our 100°+ days in July (not unusual) and are down to the 80s and 90s so far for August. It’s still hot, especially with humidity between 60 and 90%, and yes, even when there’s no rain. I know it isn’t that way for everyone. BfitzinAR is reporting many days over 100°. I’m sure this is just summer backing up for a fresh start at me, and I’ll have those high(er) temperatures soon.
August flowers are often monochrome. No matter what kind of flower, it’s often another variation of a yellow composite. Other colors come as a relief, when I find them. Here are a few:
