Ronald Regan is responsible for homelessness. In his 8 years as California governor and 8 years as President of the United States he was responsible for over 2000 changes to laws and administrative rules to make them more conservative. Getting rid of free education and other safety net programs in California, twenty years later you get homelessness.
Current #1 Republican goal: Ending abortion rights!
If your goal is to make citizens into serfs, single motherhood is the best way to do so. Single motherhood may be an absolute guarantee of lifetime poverty.
Florida governor Ron Desantis claims there are those who benefited from slavery. Baby mills were one of few areas that may qualify. Men like Nick Cannon would benefit. He reportedly says that he is not interested in being a good father to some of his children. Splitting families and selling children might appeal to him as it did to sleazy white slave owners who also took advantage.
As an aside, while slave owners took advantage of sex, some white women tried it too. Unfortunately, men’s members that are too long for a vaginal cavity cause the vagina to become permanently loose. There is no way for a woman to hide this, so they lie. Many black men were lynched for doing something that they had been given permission from the owner’s wife to do.
(Actually, gynecological procedures can cause the same thing. Gynecology does not pay as well as other medical professions so little needed surgical procedures are often done. The vagina is designed to stretch sideways, not in length, so the nerve bundles are massed in the distal area and are easily broken, even by a one-time rough contact.)
Even baby mill states like Mississippi have other new tricks. The social problems in Jackson are all caused by Gerrymandering. Power is concentrated in certain districts starving the others of funds. Voter suppression is another key to the goal of conservatism in keeping people poor.
We all see what is happening in Florida. If we continue to let it happen, in a few years, it’ll be everywhere else.
