Naturally, I couldn’t help thinking of the Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives but that’s not my inspiration today. No — what got me thinking about classic diners was this short video explaining why classic diners look the way they do. Along the way, we learn about their history and design. [10:28]
Today, let’s go back to the 1950s and look at classic diner food. The Internet has almost everything, including 1950s diner menus. (Click on the menu’s image to embiggen it.) Look at those prices!
