Two Wrongs Don't Make a Right [1]

I consistently hear from Trump people that they have no problem with Trump’s lies because it is obvious that our government has always lied to us. Having grown up in the Viet Nam era, I have no argument with the fact that our government has and probably will continually offer lies as a means of covering up incompetence. When you have a system that is this large managing these resources with that many people working for it and depending upon its financing, our taxes, to support their families, mistakes are going to be made and efforts to cover them up will often occur. If the government is asking you to surrender your life, as they did in Nam, for their incompetence….well….that’s a problem. We fought against these “terrorist efforts”, as they might call it now, and some of us were able to survive that massive disaster. So, I can understand the people’s distrust of their governing body and support the necessary vigilance to protect our lives and families from the overzealous military/industrial complex. However, the fact is we live in a country that has used “guns and butter” as its economic engine for many, many years. War is good business and we have a massive capital structure invested to support this effort. However, this Trump thing is a whole other problem. Two or more lies do not make a truth.
Trump is the manifestation of our system and the embodiment of the “demon” that has historically been called “mammon”. (See Matthew 6:24) He is an unchained, coherent manifestation of an evil that has been unchecked and ignored for far too long. He justifies his behavior as simply one of survival at all cost against whatever or whoever seeks to destroy him. This, folks, is true demon behavior. People around him fall under the spell and become entrapped in his web of deceit because they have no defenses and they too are trying to survive against whatever or whoever seeks to destroy them. Evil always knows what to say and when to say exactly the right thing to capture your attentions and allow it to entrap your inner angel in the grasp of its dark embrace. Trump appeals to the darkest aspects of your shadow because he knows, instinctively, how to tap that inner fear. Does he know that what he is doing is evil manifested? Do the people around him understand? Probably not. Do the gang members of M13 think that they are evil? Well, maybe some of them understand. But, by and large, most of them claim that something dark and sinister seemed to overcome them when they joined the gang. (their words, not mine). Is this too far of a stretch of a metaphor to compare M13 with Trump? Not if you realize that the common thread is a demonic force that seeks its own survival at any and all cost. There are different degrees of everything and this includes evil.
Erasing this man from our screens and our consciousness is not only a worthy effort to protect our laws and democracy, but also a stand against the evil influences of the forces that he embodies. Unfortunately, most of us have no understanding or comprehension of the massive dark influences that are spread by these diseased spirits. Mammon infects all our lives because it seems so natural and we live in a “guns and butter” system that depends on our fears and mutual spiritual dilution to function. However, this is slowly turning around and this effort to hold Trump and his co-conspirers accountable is but one step in a long staircase towards a more palatable union with our Creator and the realization of what this planet and our presence on it actually means. It is the beginning of a Crusade against ignorance and superstition and the forces that seek to manipulate our attentions and consciousness for their own personal gain. Standing against this demonic force and its dark influences, through the use of our embodied constitutional laws, created by men of high spiritual intent and good hearts, will win the day and project this country forward on the path of self- realization and the empowerment of the individual. Two or more truths do make a truth.
