YouTube has introduced me to a number of British comedians — many because of the BBC show Live at the Apollo. One of my favorites is Sindhu Vee.

Born in New Delhi in 1969, Sindhu Vee spent her childhood in India and the Philippines, before throwing herself into academia, getting degrees from Oxford, Montreal and Chicago universities.
