The Best of Progressive Twitter, As Researched While Caring for a Sick Mrs. Claw. [1]

Mrs. Claw recently spent time in the hospital for kidney failure, which while not unexpected, came on more suddenly than forecast. So this has been a long weekend keeping an eye on her condition as she struggles with metabolizing food and even just breathing comfortably. While still awake, I decided to see what creativity is out there is doing their best to preserve Twitter as a legitimate source of communication.
I’m actually more of a fedora guy.
Some won’t use Twitter but a lot of good people are still there. Some are very funny.
But not all of it is funny. Some of it is nauseating. I don’t dispute a need to pay reparations because no decent society should have ever allowed this:

From this list, “bud’n out” is especially disgusting. Of course that means exactly what it sounds like, young women, in fact probably teens, being auctioned as future comfort hospitality. I won’t expound further.
Our Constitution that is so beloved should not be so because of its original design, but rather its ability to evolve. It is remarkable that it took an amendment to see that selling a human being was outlawed. Even scarier is that Florida wants to teach that slavery came with benefits. This post reminds us to never assume they have a bottom.
I will point out that Hillary herself was never indicted and never charged over emails with weighty topics like her daughter’s wedding.
This next one is not explicitly progressive except that the truth of climate change is.
In Arizona for example the forecast high today is, “What did I do to deserve this?” with a low of, “What was I thinking?” Saturday got to a high of “Screw It” but last Wednesday topped it all when it got up to 100 and no effing way I am going outside for the Safeway ad..”
It was 119. The high temperature should not match an above average IQ.
I hope to be out of here before it gets to a high of “Einstein.”
