Is it OK to Not Want to Read About What MTG Says? [1]

I get that Queen of All Karen’s racism, ignorance, transphobia, antisemitism are all bad and using her platform normalizes bad things. But I’m not going to click on stories about her. I don’t need any more convincing.

Remember “covfefe “? It was national news that Donald Trump made a typo. Who cares, it’s not even funny. Now we need to know every time MTG mixes a word up. Neither of these things matter. Do we need more evidence that these two people are morons? I don’t. You can listen to the things they say on purpose for that.



Furthermore, while Trump could order missile attacks, MTG only has the ear (and maybe other body parts) of Kevin McCarthy, a notoriously weak and hapless house speaker in a divided Congress with a Democratic president. She’s maybe not even the dumbest (Boebert) or worst (Gosar, Gaetz) person in the house. Whatever dumb, go-nowhere idea she’s proposing would probably have come from some other asshole anyway.



So i don’t read stories about her. It’s important to cover her bigoted remarks but beyond that her words don’t matter to me. YMMV.
