Ghana- Four Year Old Anabel has been Thrown Out of the Shelter [1]

Anabel is a four year old girl who was brought to John in Ghana after she was found wandering the streets alone, abandoned by her mentally ill mother.
We have been paying to keep her in a home for children whose parents cannot care for them. It was not an ideal situation but at least she wasn’t alone on the street.
I have just heard from John. They brought Anabel to him today to return to her mother. They required more money in order to keep her. We did pay recently but apparently it was simply not enough. So they threw her out.
John cannot keep her, he is almost homeless himself and obviously the authorities do not allow a man living on his own to have a little girl that is not his daughter staying with him.
He tried to find the mother but she has gone off to one of the villages and is not to be found.
I think John managed to get her back in the home but they are demanding money. It is the end of the month and I have overextended myself trying to save the life of my son.
I am going to try to juggle some money to get the funds that are needed but Anabel is in trouble.
This month of terrors just will not end.
