Constant begging is getting old [1]

I’m sharing Jack (full name Captain Jack Sparrow) as my headline photo because I’m sick of looking at orange men and loud-mouthed reps from Georgia. Jack is so much more attractive than either.
I’m basically here to vent about the barrage of fundraising emails and to ask DK: do you not understand that most of us are tapped out, which is why donations are not pouring in? After spending my own money to mail hundreds of postcards and letters, donating to candidate after candidate, as well as supporting and hoping against hope Marus Flowers would pull it off, I’m OUT of funds.
We are also now locking into a never-ending political cycle. I would so love to see legislation passed that limits campaigning to the six weeks before an election, but no. One ends, and another begins the next day.
I’d like to support DK but I refuse to do that at the cost of paying my mortgage, food bills, utility bills, vet bills, etc. I cannot seem to get a straight answer to the question of when donations help the most. If someone said, “We need money at the very beginning,” or “You donation helps most two weeks before the election,” I could plan. Instead, I’m supposed to give, give, give, for months on end. No.
I imagine most of us are in the same situation. I’d like NOT to get begging emails from DK daily. How about reaching outside the immediate family and trying to find funding somewhere else? Just sayin’.
