Some details on Jack Smith's additional charges against trump in classified documents case [1]

Special counsel Jack Smith today added new charges against trump in a superseding indictment in the classified documents case.
Prosecutors allege in the updated indictment that two Trump employees – Walt Nauta and Carlos De Oliveira – attempted to delete security camera footage at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort after the Justice Department issued a subpoena for the footage.
De Oliveira was the maintenance worker who helped Nauta move boxes of classified documents around Mar-a-Lago after the Justice Department first subpoenaed Trump for classified documents last May. The new indictment document alleges that he tried to get video footage deleted as ordered by “the boss.”
This conversation took place on June 25, 2022, a few weeks after the subpoena was issued and a few weeks before the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago -
These are the new charges against trump; they are related to the attempt to delete the video footage -
These same 2 charges were added to Waltine Nauta’s charge sheet.
Carlos De Oliveira has 4 charges against him, including one for making false statements to law officials, since he denied that he was involved in moving boxes.
We did not get the new indictment on the Jan 6 insurrection case today, but this will do for today. Perhaps the next one is coming tomorrow, Friday.
