I’ve been wondering about this for a number of months...is there a way to sign petitions on Daily Kos and Not immediately have my spam folder running over with emails from every candidate in every state? As much as I want to support and speak up for many issues, I have gotten reluctant to do so because it seems to be a buy-in to an all-or-nothing situation. So, is there a way to sign on to DK petitions without having my email address sent to the lists of every candidate and groups supporting important issues? I’m quite able to find the candidates and issues I want to support, without being spammed to death. It’s great that DK makes these petitions available, but is there a way to also allow for our own agency and autonomy, rather than throwing us in the “every Democratic petition room”.

Caring people want to know.
