There is good news from the Bakhmut area front. It appears that after a long, hard slog Ukraine is about to take all of Klishchiivka, just to the south of Bakhmut, and has already liberated Andriivka to the south of Klishchiivka.

It has been true and continues to be true that Bakhmut has no strategic value. And, indeed, it has been pulverized to hell. The value in retaking the city is in delivering a political and psychological blow to Russia. After months and months and a ton of Russian blood spilled, losing the city would be crippling.

x The question is, how much is it costing Ukraine. Taking Bakhmut back would not give any significant operational benefits. Another thing to point out is the city is more or less destroyed. β€” Def Mon (@DefMon3) July 24, 2023

A mass assault by 17 drones takes out another Crimean ammo dump.

The Ukrainian Air Force managed to blow up the third major ammunition depot, utilizing 17 drones. While the Russian Ministry of Defense claims to have shot down all the drones, the destruction of three hangars with ammunition near Vilne and a maintenance depot in Novostepove by the Ukrainians has raised doubts about the accuracy of this assertion.
