New Ad: Jennifer Lawrence Ridicules Trump [1]

TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube shorts are a new way of communicating this election cycle. And already most of the campaigns have jumped in and tried to use it.

But the first people to jump in were Republicans. In fact, when we first searched TikTok for accounts with “Democrat” or “Democratic Party”, we found almost all such accounts were run by people on the right. Republicans have also found insidious ways to ridicule Joe Biden on TikTok. We don’t many of the people who participated even knew what they were doing.

This space, especially TikTok, is almost completely dominated by people under 34. People who should be Democrats. Support all our major policies. But may not yet understand the importance of supporting the party at all levels, and voting the straight Democratic ticket. Especially in the upcoming presidential election.

So, this is a place we really need to be. And we need to become conversant in the nature of this specific offshoot of online video sharing.
