Would DeSantis Cancel the Multiverse? [1]

Ah, the multiverse. That wondrous array of infinite possibilities.

Truth is, comic book reading boomers have known of the multiverse for quite some time now. It was DC, who, according to some accounts, first explored this realm, somewhere back in, oh, 1961, thereafter using the concept as a device to deal with their many conflicts in character and storyline continuity.

Whereas Marvel, on the contrary, established their other worlds for the purpose of freeing themselves from the restraints imposed by their own continuity - so as to allow themselves greater creative flexibility. Or at least that's my understanding of it.

Regardless, seems both DC and Marvel have, of late, gone multiverse mad, especially in their respective cinematic "universes." Because, as it so happens, thar's gold in them thar multiverses.

And with Black and multi-national Spidermen, Spiderwomen, flashpoint paradoxes, and infinite crises on infinite earths (nod to DC), seems there's a veritable rainbow array of endless possibilities, as well as Diversity and Inclusion a-PLENTY... enough to shake a couple-o-webs at (nod to Marvel),

which, while entertaining for many, must be troubling for those adverse to such concepts — and which, all considering, must be dizzying enough to make a DeSantis head (or any other head of like mentality), explode for the blatant and unbridled "WOKENESS" of it all. (Figuratively speaking f’sure.)

And it doesn’t stop with DC and Marvel. It’s run (horribly?) rampant elsewhere too. DEMONS of diversity virtually crawling from the woodwork, as it were (snark).

Barbie has awakened (or so I've heard), Chick-Fil-A too (who'd have thunk?) and to top it off, there may now be a Snow White who isn't white enough for the druthers of some, and "dwarves" who might not be.

My God man! What's the world coming to??

Of course naturally, the LOGICAL thing to do (for DeSantis that is) is SUE. First Disney, and now Bud Light. That is, he's reportedly thinking about it - for (what was that again?) "breaching legal duties owed to its shareholders." Yeah... that's the ticket.

Hell, what the heck? Sue 'em all! Just deserves for the emotional distress that Hollywood and the dastardly evil and villainous "woke" corporate America has inflicted upon the much maligned M... er... Republican psyche. Yep. That'll show 'em.

(And don't think they've forgotten about that little mermaid, those not-so-readily gropeable M&M's, or all those TV commercials full of same sex couples and racially ambiguous people you corporate "groomers" keep forcing 'em to watch, dagnabbit!)
