Music Legend Tony Bennett Dies at 96 [1]

One of the greatest voices to ever grace a stage has been stilled. Tony Bennett, who won a staggering 20 Grammys over his career, including for his final album with Lady Gaga in 2021, has passed away at the age of 96. Perhaps the last living link to the Golden Era of music legends like Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington , Harry Belafonte and Ella Fitzgerald, Bennett’s career spanned over 7 decades, starting in the late 1940s. songs like ‘ I left my Heart in San Francisco” made him a household name, and younger generations discovered him in the mid-90s. generations have covered his songs, and generations of artists have cited him as an influence.
